Intern Responsibilities
Chambers College has become well established at the capitol. Our interns are in demand. Interns serve two days per week for the legislative term that runs from January to early May. Most arrive around 8:30 a.m and work until about 4:00 p.m. There is some flexibility in the schedule. To be assured of a position you must be registered through Chambers College, unless you have a direct relationship to a legislator who has requested you. Generally interns answer the phone, reply to letters, and help serve their legislator. Office skills are helpful. |
